  6. Can you tell me why Jesus worked only three and a half years of his life to preach the Christian faith with his disciples? Why did Jesus start his ministry at the age of 30 years old? Can you also maybe tell me,why Jesus didn’t begin working sooner at younger age, because he was born as savior.

Ragnar – I don’t know why. All I know is this; there are seasons in our lives that God directs. We must walk in obedience daily and He alone sees the ‘big picture.’ Jesus walked in perfect obedience to God the Father, and He fulfilled all the prophecies written concerning Him in the Old Testament. I am sure that there is something in there concerning your questions. I just do not know them. God bless you. Keep studying about Jesus and the work He has completed on your behalf. We love you. Rex

    2. Hi Ragnar, Concerning your questions I don’t think there is any serious significance to the reason why Jesus didn’t do those. But one thing I know Jesus walked in line with God’s plan for His life. Jesus could not also fulfill His ministry without the Holy Ghost. He had to become a full grown man so that the scriptures could be fulfilled that He was tempted at all points as we were yet without sin. Now even though Jesus was born as divine or as the savior He was as much man as He was God. The bible said He laid aside His mighty power and glory therefore there was a fair ground the devil could not accuse God of cheating on him. That was why Jesus did not just appear from no where, He had to be born as a normal man, grow up, learn obedience, be tempted and also to receive the Holy Ghost. Why did Jesus’ ministry last for only three and a half years? or why He started His ministry at age 30? according to all that I know I have said but one thing I know when the Godhead was planning redemption no one was there and moreover God is sovereign He can do whatever He likes unlike other gods that some “priest” tells them what they want. The only confidence we have is that in God’s word we discovered that He is a good God and He would never do evil to us.

    3. It is my understanding that at 30 years old a man could become a Rabbi, not before . I was also taught in the same lesson that the Greeks used 30 as thier age of accountability. over 30 He became too old to go to war . No more games. At the men had to marry and settle down to running their farms or whatever type of work they did..

  7. I use this daily confession to uplift my spirit and get to know God well.
