No Such Thing as ‘Non-Thing’ Faith

Faith is not random or vague. Just as a particular seed is specific, so faith is specific. There is no such thing as ‘non-thing’ faith. God created things and faith for things.

Therefore, I say unto you, whatever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them. Mark 11:24

Religion is theoretical and passive. Faith is not make-believe. Faith is for real people with real needs in real situations needing a real God. Faith is aggressive, measurable, and focused. God expects results and so should we. His word is not to return to Him void, but must first do that which it was sent to do (Isaiah 55:11). There is a specific expectation resident in each of God’s promises. You’re not fully in faith until you are believing for something specific.

Go ahead. Believe for something. Seek God on its behalf, till you receive His witness in your heart. Then pray for it in faith, and wait for it with patience. When you receive it, your life will change. Do it again. This gives glory to God (John 14:13-15). This is being fruitful (John 15:16). This is the walk of faith.

But seek first His Kingdom and all His righteousness, and all these things will be given unto you. Matthew 6:33
