The following is a list of scriptures on fear. Use them when fear is attempting to come. Fear does not necessarily mean danger, it can simply mean fear. We associate fear with danger because that is how our body interacts with our God given motivation for self preservation. When we go into a dark room, we might sense fear, especially if we are apprehensive about the dark, but that does not mean that there actually is a danger. It only means that there is an unknown, and that unknown can breed fear – fear of the unknown. To fight the fear of the unknown, counteract it with faith based on the known – the known will of God. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. In my family I have a heridtary diease called M.J.D OR S.C.A-3 ATAXIA. I’M 56 years old I’ve had it since i was about 44 years old. It effects my balance & coordination & some weakness. I seem to be stuck in fear & panic attacks through out every day & sleepnes nights.Other family members with same diease have the same problems as well as family members who died early deaths to this diease. I’am a born again christain. I understand biblical teachings that Jesus Christ died for our sins , sickness &diease. The old way of living is dead & all things are new. 1st Peter 2:24. I seem to being attacked spiritually when I Pray and read Gods word. Confusion & fear comes. HELP!!!
Pray for our son. Mental health healing is needed. Psychosis. Pray that a hedge of protection around him. That he recieve’s the Holy Spirit and is healed. Let him know that God loves him!

I thank God! Through it all, I know he will deliver and heal me. Because He already sent his word to deliver me from destruction. I have to walk on his word…….at all times. I have to walk even when I don’t feel him.

I read the story about your daughter and am going to prayer for her.please meditate this verses about healing together with your daughter if possible.God announced himself to be the healer of His people with these words:Iam the Lord who heals you(exodus 15:26)he spoke the message to about 3 million people and everyone who believed God´s word was true, received healing perfectly.

thank you for praying for Blythe. she has been put on a beta blocker for her heart to regulate, and is not feeling very well. her husband who divorced her is being abusive to their son, carter during visitation. carter is in special education, and getting helped. his dad is Russian and doesn’t believe in learning disabilities. he keeps him awake, pulls his hair and ears bc that doesn’t leave marks. carter was so desperate yesterday that he asked to see the school guidance counselor. please pray that God will intervene in carter’s situation with his dad. i don’t want to say anything about his dad, but i will say that he is possibly the cruelest person i know. he texts Blythe 25 times a day negatively and he knows that her heart and blood are making her ill. i know that God can help, i am just numb. thanks for listening.
My daughter is in bad health. she is 39. she has had cancer, sepsis, has a blood condition called von willebrand’s disease, and has heart arrhythmia. i have 3 other kids and i do not feel anxious to talk to them every day, but i have had so many scares with Blythe, my daughter.. most of the time she functions pretty well,but when she is sick, she is very sick. thanks for the scripture.i know them, but it helps to see them… please pray for her.

God bless you, and I will pray for Blythe. I have two daughters, and I know the love both you and God have for them. God is a merciful, faithful, and powerful friend in time of need. He is also a healer of hearts and bodies.
Spend time in these scriptures, and others to building your faith and keep fear at bay. As you meditate on the scriptures and seek His face, the promises come alive in your heart. This is when faith comes, and once you have, you have it.

It is the devil’s purpose to make us fearful and to keep us in darkness when it comes to the promises of God , In theses troublesome times if we don’t know the word we will be control by fear, God is greater than any force, Our deliverance is in the written word of God; The scriptures that was posted was so helpful; Keep up the good work .

I am definitely experiencing the spiritual warfare when deciding that I must place my trust in god and not man but today am struggling with being fearful of the unknown..of what will happen as I begin to trust in God’s protection for me in my current situation. That is how I came across this site – to seek God’s Word against fear.
I HAVE FOUND IN MY LIFE THAT AS MY THINKING CHANGED, AND THUS MY ACTIONS THE PERSECUTION STARTED, NOT THAT I AM TRYING TO GO AGAINST ANYONE. PROV. 25:26 AMPLIFIED. SO I FIND GREAT STRENGTH IN GOD’S WORD, I HAVE BECOME FEARLESS OF MAN. I AM READING JOHN PIPER’S DON’T WASTE YOUR LIFE, THE FALSE SECURITY PART GOT TO MY HEART, THE ONLY SECURITY IN FOUND IN HIM.
IT’S HARD TO FIND OTHER BELIEVERS WHO HAVE FOUND THIS TO BE TRUE SO USUALLY IT’S A LONELY BUT JOYFUL WALK WITH HIM.

And the reason Paul emphasizes that ‘all things work together for good’ is that when we are praying in the Spirit we do not understand the words we are saying, but we can rest assured, confident in the fact, that we are praying (in partnership with the Holy Spirit) the perfect mind and plan of God the Father. All things will turn out to our ‘good’ when we yield to the Holy Spirit and pray in the Spirit.
Romans 8.28 begins with the word “And” which leads me to look at the verses prior to this.
Romans 8:26-27 (King James Version)
26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
There is a partnership with God here on “all good things” found in 8.28. We need to be praying in the Spirit allowing the Holy Spirit to pray through us in our weakness. The team of us and the Holy Spirit brings about 8.28
