The following is a list of scriptures on worry. Use them when worry and anxiety are attempting to come in. Remember, most of the time worry only means worry, and not the real probability of calamity. Fight anxiety and worry with all you have; they can lead to a loss of hope and then depression. The war is in our head. All Scriptures are from the King James Version.

Please pray for my family and I. We are down to 8 days until we are homeless and have no place to go. We have two children and the thought of being homeless with them terrifies me. My faith is definiately being tested. I keep trying to give my burdens to HIM but it is times like these that it seems really hard.

I v bin facing some challenges in my health for months now, and the worst part is that all the doctors I have been to, none is diagnosing any ailment, to me they are all doing guess work. I have lived in constant fear and torment for months now, fear of the unknown, negative thoughts fill my head every now and then, and the worst part is that I feel I am not worthy of God’s healing, I pray and read the word but I don’t believe, God please help me because I have no other place or person to run to.
I have been going thru the exact same thing to the point that i need someone to go with me to my doctor’s appointments. i use to go alone but now i can’t. but i should know better than that. God is always with me and i am never alone. the doctors have not pin pointed exactly what is going on with me so this causes anxiety for me. but lately prayer & focusing on the Word has helped me get thru this period. tomorrow i get more results and only the Lord knows the entire outcome. i need to believe that whatever i am told by these doctors that the Lord has the last word. You need to believe the same thing. I know its hard but at the end of the day, who do we have to turn to?
A – I stand with you and God is with you. Be at peace and be full of God’s courage. I am believing that your ‘faith will not fail’. You will be victorious. You are healed by His work and His stripes. I speak God’s tangible mercy and peace and grace and love all over you in Jesus Name. “It is faith alone, in Christ alone, which alone moves God, when you are alone.”
Its not as complicated as it seems, if u believe u are healed then u are, know god loves his little ones so much that he stands with us in problems as a friend would, hurts when we hurt and and smiles when we smile, his word is living first seek loving Thy god and thanking thee slowly but surely u will receive, have a relationship with god like would a friend.
chinwe, I too am going thru some physical issues dealing with the unknown. It is scary, I try to constantly keep God’s word in my heart. He said I am healed, thru Jesus’s sacrifice. But, oh, the constant tormenting physical pain I am going thru. And the unknown of what will happen to me this year. But I believe good things will happen to me from God. I desperately stand on His promises. But if I look at the circumstances without looking at God’s promises, they are tortureous. So I try to always praise Him and give Him glory for what He did for me by taking my pains and sicknesses upon Himself. His word is my lighthouse in the stormy sea. I will pray for you Chinwe. Oh God, we stand together , In Jesus name, honor your word. Lord. Help us to believe in your provision for our bodies. Let us rejoice in your word. It is so important to pray the word of God over your life and circumstances. Thank you for the scripture against anxiety. Satan battles our minds and our powerful weapon against him is the Word of God – It Is Written.
We must discipline our selves in spiritual discipline. God is first. We must pray to our god everyday. We must read our bible daily to feed our spirit. Trust in his word. And obey his command with our heart mind n soul .
I am frantic about a test from my doctor. I believe that christ will take care of me but I am afraid the results may not be good.
I know what you are going through. I also have to get a doc’s report this week. sometimes i feel positive and at peace; other times i panic about the results. i tell myself over and over that no matter what i hear from the doctor that the Lord will see me through it and will never leave my side. what helps me is to get out of the house and go for a drive with someone. talk about the Word and share in fellowship. ask the Lord to give you a revelation about your situation and believe me…He will.
I am facing anxiety & worry but have learned to sustain myself through His word. I face health issues, family issues. Docs say everything is normal but my fears about my health wont leave. they haunt me almost all the time. have a child with special needs who needs me so much i don’t want to face an illness. i have declared that the lord will give me peace & that i must feel His word in my spirit. i read it, i believe it, but i cant seem to apply the feeling of peace that comes from it. i will not give up and neither should you!
AB – You have to get to a place where you will no longer allow fear and anxiety to rule your life. Part of that is really getting the Word of God inside of you through reading, meditation, and confession (another form of meditation, see other notes below for links). The other part is honestly and consistently dealing with your thinking. Paul tells us that if we think upon certain thing, then God’s peace will be the result (Philippians 4:6, 7, 8, 9). It is true. It actually is hard work to change in mid-life the way one thinks, but it must be done if that old way of thinking is destructive.
Confess His Word and choose to think the thoughts worthy of peace and victory. It is not denial, but rather the choosing of a perspective of hope and faith.

I was just praying to the Lor for miracle because in 12 days, I will be homeless. I have worked hard in both school and at my jobs. Sometimes working two and three at a time, but I have still lost my home and have been laid off from work. I was looking for some encouragement and I found this site. There are times that I think that I am not worth it to hear by God because of my weaknesses and wrongdoings,,, but I am praying deep in my heart how I am going to surpass my worries and anxieties … I ask Him no to solve my problems but to lead me the way how should I solve it. I really need the lord to step in and take my burden. I am going through divorce and my wife has cleaned out the bank accounts, moved all of the furniture out of the house while I was at work, and now i am having to pay more than I can handle in child support, and daycare. i cannot pay my rent at home, I am also concerned the power and water will be turned off this week and I have my children!

Awesome.I needed these words of encouragement because I have to go to court this morning but now I know even the more he will never leave me nor foresake me and I will be leaving court on my way back to my house only having to pay court cost. I believe and trust God for
