The following is a list of scriptures on laziness. Laziness is a killer; fight it with all you have. Laziness breeds disappointment, and disappointment breeds hopelessness, and hopelessness breeds depression, and depression robs you of your motivation, which in turn breeds more laziness. It is a cycle of death and destruction.
1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 – And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; (12) That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

(32) Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction. (33) Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: (34) So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.
Proverbs 6:6-11 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: (7) Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, (8) Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.
